Buyers Administrator -  H.Samuel - Watches - Temporary 6 Month Contract - Full Time - Borehamwood

We are the name behind Ernest Jones & H.Samuel, and we have a fantastic entry level role that will provide you with an opportunity to forge a career within buying. Our Buyers Administrators are at the heart of the buying functionality and you will play a pivotal role in supporting our H.Samuel Watches team in Borehamwood.  Our Borehamwood Store Support Centre is only a 20-minute train ride outside of Central London, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. If you prefer to drive, free parking is available. 

The main purpose of a Buyers Administrator is to provide an efficient administrative support to the buying team to help maximise sales and profitability. This role would suit someone who has exceptional organisational skills as you will ensure the movement of stock is accurately and securely co-ordinated. Ideally you will have a natural flare for numeracy as your analytical skills will be further tested as you progress your buying career and become more involved with strategic buying decisions.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all tasks are carried out in line with the departments critical path, liaise with suppliers to ensure the delivery of products in a timely manner, and ensure the accuracy and maintenance of all departmental files.  You will possess a strong eye for emerging trends and be a confident communicator as you will liaise with a varied audience both internally and externally.

We are looking for an excellent team player, who has an understanding of or a genuine interest in forging a career within buying. A previous role in buying isn’t necessary as at entry level Buyers Admin role has plenty of scope for development.  Perhaps you are a graduate who has a Fashion or Design related degree and potentially completed an internship/ work placement within buying environment and  is eager to learn will fit right in!
