Sample Room Administrator - Full Time - Borehamwood

Owners of renowned retail jewellery brands Ernest Jones and H.Samuel, we have a fabulous administrative role available within our Buying team in Borehamwood. A Sample Room Administrator, also known internally as a Sample Room Assistant, plays an integral part in ensuring that all samples of product are appropriately processed.  Reporting into the Buyer you will work alongside another Sample Room Administrator where you will both be accountable for all administrative procedures relating to samples. Last year our team impressively processed over 22,000 samples and this really does highlight the fact this role will be fast paced.

This role demands high attention to detail skills and ideally you will be an experienced Administrator with a high degree of computer literacy.

As a Sample Room Administrator here at Signet Jewellers, no two days are the same! You will support the Buying team by processing all Samples that come in/out of the department, and will use our in-house computer software you will track the samples every movement.  We are a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and therefore you will play an integral part in ensuring all samples are fully compliant and meet all standards.  Your Excel skills will be put to good use as you will be required to produce several reports to highlight movement, quantities and returns of products.

As a Sample Room Assistant you will have the opportunity to carry out routine administrative work for the wider Buying team in order to offer support during peak.

You will have excellent IT skills and attention to detail along with the ability to plan and organise a busy workload.
