We're looking for talented and passionate Jewellers to join our expert team in Birmingham and help deliver an exceptional jewellery repair service within one of the UK's largest single-site jewellery and watch repair operations.
If you're an experienced Bench Jeweller or looking to further develop your repair and restoration skills, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Working alongside a highly skilled team of jewellery professionals, you will be responsible for completing a variety of jewellery repairs to the highest quality standards while meeting service and efficiency targets that ensure an outstanding customer experience.
You'll work on beautiful and unique pieces every day, using your craftsmanship to restore jewellery to its former glory.
Key Responsibilities
Your work may include:
- Cleaning and polishing jewellery
- Ring sizing
- Half-shanking rings
- Soldering repairs
- Repairing hinges
- Jewellery plating
- Channel setting and rebuilding rings
- Bezel setting
- Re-tipping and rebuilding claws
- Resetting replacement stones
In addition, you'll:
- Deliver quality repairs within agreed service levels and production targets
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the repairs operation
- Support the management team in maintaining the security and control of customer jewellery
- Contribute to efficient production flow and workshop performance
- Help ensure an exceptional customer experience through the quality of your workmanship
