APPRENTICE SALES ASSOCIATE

What does it take to be a great Apprentice Sales Associate?

Our store teams are made up of customer-first people with a real passion for outstanding service, creating amazing experiences and lasting memories for our customers. Our team members work hard to develop outstanding product knowledge and real jewellery expertise that they can share with our customers. 

As an Apprentice Sales Associate you’ll become a committed and dedicated member of the team, you’ll play a key role in helping the store to maintain performance and meet sales targets. As new products are introduced in store, you will build your knowledge and develop your skills in customer service to ensure that you can deal with every type of customer enquiry.

Your background

If you would like to be a part of our amazing team, you’ll have a passion for delivering amazing customer service. While you may not specifically have jewellery experience, you will certainly have an interest in jewellery products and brands. A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude is essential, with a natural ability for striking up a conversation with a diverse range of customers.

What's next?

When you submit your application, you will be invited to complete a short online assessment. 

If successful, you will be asked to complete a short video which gives you the opportunity to tell us a little more about you and why you would like to join us. 

Successful applicants will be contacted by the store manager inviting you to the final stage interviews.

Your Training

As an Apprentice Sales Associate you will undergo ‘Introductory and Silver’ levels of our formal ‘Signet Jewellery Academy’ training and development programme. You will also complete an Intermediate Retail Skills Apprenticeship with Technical Certificate and Key Skills. An experienced mentor will be on hand to support you for the duration of your Apprenticeship.

Your Rewards

We offer a training salary of £7.00 per hour, plus benefits, including sales incentives and staff discount. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
